Terroir
Brown soils, deep limestone, and very stony.
This is the first plot to have been planted with vines as early as the year 1000.
Tasting
The aromatic range features black fruits, blueberry, blackberry, and spices, blended with more animal notes of musk and fur, especially in more evolved vintages. It is a powerful and complex wine with a beautiful structure that allows it to age gracefully.
Thanks to its body, Saint Georges can pair with flavorful dishes, marinated or non-marinated game, pies and meats in sauce with mushrooms, and aged cheeses.
