Vincent Dancer quickly recognized the full potential of the Les Corbins climat, whose deep, stony clay-limestone soils bring added substance and power to the wine. He therefore quite rightly chose to vinify this parcel separately. The nearly 40-year-old vines have reached an optimal balance between fruit quality and yield. Naturally, the harvest is carried out by hand to preserve the full integrity of the fruit. No artifice is used during vinification: no sulfites are added, and no settling is performed. The wine is aged for no less than 18 months (including 12 in barrels), giving it a delicious richness and roundness.
The color is an intense yellow, and the nose is incredibly fruity, with notes of white fruits and pear. On the palate, one finds all the depth and elegance expected from a great Meursault. Do not hesitate to cellar it for 5 to 10 years—your patience will be well rewarded.
