Located just below the Premier Cru Les Champs Gains, Les Masures is considered one of the finest parcels within the Chassagne-Montrachet Village appellation. A masure is a small rural house, and we can imagine that a few houses once stood on this plot, although no trace of them remains today.
Tasted in January 2025 by Ella Lister (Le Figaro Vins):
"A wine that makes the heart beat faster, like a butterfly caught beneath the ribcage, with its slender nose showing delicately earthy notes. On the palate, the wine sings with crystalline purity, carried by a base of ripe citrus and a quince-like complexity. The finish stretches out at length.”
